INCANDESCENT: 2017
Lighthouse Circus Theatre’s second production Incandescent explores the meaning of relationships we form with those around us: the stranger passing on the street, the friend you’ve started to connect with, the ones closest to you. Often times, the person we present to the outside world is just a silhouette of the person we are inside. Incandescent explores how being our most honest and vulnerable selves can free us from the confines of the mind and help us discover previously-lost hope.
EMBERS: 2016
Lighthouse Circus Theatre’s debut production Embers takes you on an acrobatic journey to the edge of raw human emotion by illuminating the complexities of mental health through soul-stirring circus acts inspired by personal experiences. As the cast explores the uncensored world of mental illness, Embers reminds us that community and conversation can restore embers of light to the darkest of nights.
